| THE COTTAGES |
Our two distinctly different Bamburgh holiday cottages are both steeped in the history of Bamburgh and Northumberland. Sandham cottage was built in 1896 as accommodation for workmen who rebuilt Bamburgh Castle for Lord Armstrong at the turn of the 20th century. The Haven cottage was part of farm buildings attached to the 18th century Wynding Farm, a former turnip shed and hay loft it still retains much of its period character.
|
| Sandham sleeps six in three bedrooms and has two bathrooms, one en-suite to the master bedroom. There is a large grassed private garden from which it is a short walk to Bamburgh’s fabulous sandy beach. An ideal cottage for a family or group self catering holiday. |

The Haven cottage sleeps four and has a large family bathroom; with cloakroom and a secluded paved garden with views to Bamburgh Castle and beach. Again, perfect for a family or group looking for an ideal holiday base.
Both holiday cottages are decorated to a very high standard and are home from home with linen and towels provided. Please bring your own beach towels. |
