The cottage has been luxuriously furnished and equipped to a very high standard and is within walking distance of Bamburgh village with its shops, pubs and restaurants and to Bamburgh’s beautiful sandy beach. Originally constructed in 1894 to provide accommodation for workmen brought to restore Bamburgh Castle for Lord Armstrong, the wooden construction gives it a feel of a New England beach house, with many of the original Victorian features still in place. An ideal base from which to explore Northumberland.
