The Haven sleeps four in a converted stone barn on The Wynding, with views towards Bamburgh Castle, open countryside and the coast. Sandham sleeps six in a characterful Grade II listed cottage with its own private lawned garden. Both cottages welcome dogs.

Whether you are planning a coastal break as a couple, a family holiday or time away with your dog, Bamburgh makes a wonderful base for exploring the Northumberland coast.

Sandham (Sleeps 6)

Stay in a distinctive Grade II listed, single-storey cottage with three bedrooms, a private lawned garden and parking for two cars. Sandham combines Victorian character with space for family or friends, within walking distance of Bamburgh village and beach. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

The Haven (Sleeps 4)

A converted stone barn on The Wynding, The Haven has two bedrooms, a secluded courtyard garden and an upstairs sitting room with views towards the sea, open countryside and Bamburgh Castle. The village and beach are close at hand, and up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Lovely peaceful spot, cosy cottage and 5 minutes walk through the dunes to amazing beaches, even the weather was kind to us! Comfy beds, fluffy towels and well equipped kitchen - a few more small side plates would be useful and some logs and kindling for the fire as well as matches (the gas lighter was empty!). We have had a great week staying at 16 Armstrong Cottages, the accommodation was excellent and a real home from home. There’s a really well equipped kitchen that made eating in easy and the beds were lovely and comfy. A great secure back garden, we even managed to sit outside when the sun came out. Only a short walk across the sand dunes to a fantastic beach, we have walked miles up and down it and even managed to wear our young lively Springer Spaniel out, it was so lovely to have great accommodation to come back to after our walks.
